HAPPY 21st to me!! ♥ =)

So this past weekend was my 21st birthday & it was fantastic ! I celebrated all weekend with family, friends, and loved ones ! Thanks to all that came out and help me celebrate such a memorable moment in my life; I love you all with all of my heart ! ! ! I went to the RED Brock Station out White Marsh on Saturday with my loves, then went to D.C. & partied like a rock star (safely of course), and went to church and brunch with my family!

So I know I haven't posted in a very long time and that is all because of my hectic SENIOR YEAR.... BUT I have tons of info for ya!

.... First of all …I wanted you all to see the AMAZING art work that our NDMU students have prepared for our Art Gallery. I am not certain of whom our wonderful ARTists are but they did a superb job!

And recently, on Halloween, we had a few trick or treat-ers from the Child’s Place come through the hallways of Gibbons while our lovely offices gave out some candies!  I love to see what creations I will see, or what kind of superheroes or princesses kids decide to dress up as.

Lastly, this weekend is one of the most important days of the year… MY BIRTHDAY… and it’s my 21^st BIRTHDAY !!!!! I am so exited..I cannot WAIT to party party party!!! I will def keep you posted with pics, & etc.

Welcome to New York !!! ♥

Hey gals,

      So since it was Midterm Break....I decided to go visit my BFF in New Jersey for the weekend! On Saturday, we went to New York's Times Square for a little shopping, and hanging about! It was soooooooooo much fun, & I cant wait to go back! I took a couple of pics to capture just a tiny portion of all the fun we had!

                            There is Times Square....where the Ball drops every New Years !!! =)

That was when we first got there...there were so many people there..I'm surprised that I was even able to get a decent picture! Sorry if its dark.. that happens when its too bright outside ! Then just walking from store to store ... we saw a couple of characters.....

Later that day ....we were worn out from all of the shopping, walking, & talking....while walking to the subway station ...we were bombarded with a protest that took over 10 +blocks of marching and protesters. There were many spectators taking pictures and videos of this monumental moment. Here is one of the pics that I took...

Trendy Thursdays !! =)

Hello there everyone,

   So I have not been able to blog in a while because I have been BEYOND busy....but I did get a chance to "capture" some of the activities, which I participated in a couple days ago! Thursday was a such a beautiful day, I decided to take a picture of one my favorite places on campus to just sit and think! (Mother Theresa  fountain between Meletia and Gibbons Hall). 

Also, as a Peer Minister I am required to conduct a program every two weeks out of the month, so my program was called "Words From the Heart".  I read Love is Kind Bible Verse and for my activity we wrote one word that we thought what Love represented in our lives. It was really nice! (In Pic: Melissa Lee, Director of Campus  Ministry, Anastasia Lowery '12, Kristen Butler '14, Gabrielle Hurley, Community Service & Outreach Coordinator) Thanks ladies for coming! 

Then, later on that night, I attended the Volleyball game against Trinity School. It was a really good game and of course NOTRE DAME GATORS came out on top with the WIN! Good job ladies ! ! ! =D

Family & Friends Weekend / Reunion Weekend

This past weekend we (NDMU) celebrated Family & Friends Weekend... and it was so much FUN! There were many activities and a ton of food! I tried to attend all of the festivities because this is my last year here, but being a BIO major keeps me so busy!!! But, I did find time to sneak away from all of my work and attend the annual crab feast!!! The crabs were THE BOMB, the music was on point, and spending time with loved ones... = Priceless! ....

Oh What A Day........

Let me just start off by saying ... my WEDNESDAYs are my longest days out of the week! My classes are from 9:00 to 4:30 .. it doesn't sound that bad... but when you are as involved as me ... it tends to become overwhelming!
I also just started being Dr. Bonner's Teacher's Assistant for her Fundamentals of Biology (110) .... *picture included* ! This is for the Solar Energy lab that will be doing on Monday ! *can't wait*


After my classes, I ate dinner, attended my peer ministry meeting, then attended Campus Ministry's "meditation group", and then went to the Volleyball game! ... no we didn't win =( ..but we got them next time) ! Go Gators!

well that was my day ... hopefully today we be more relaxing !
